Profile:

The Town of Marana is one of Arizona’s fastest growing municipalities. At more than 120 square miles and nearly 35,000 residents Marana lies approximately 20 minutes northwest of downtown Tucson and 75 minutes southeast of Phoenix. Marana incorporated in 1977 and uses the council-manager form of government. More than 300 employees are employed by the Town. The Town of Marana is home to the prestigious PGA Tour Accenture Match Play golf tournament and the site of the world’s largest Ritz-Carlton resort property. The Town prides itself on tying its goals to its Strategic Plan focus areas, which include Community Building, Recreation, Commerce, Heritage, and Progress and Innovation. Marana’s standards are high and include an established set of Core Values, which are: E.T.H.I.C.S. – Excellence, Teamwork, Honesty, Integrity, Community and Service.
