A large Oil & Gas company is in immediate need of a ArcGIS/CAD technician to assist in drawings, designs and GIS data conversions for gathering infrastructure.
Ability to work with survey data, field notes and electronic files required. Should have working knowledge of parcel maps, topographic base maps, tentative maps, boundary analysis, legal descriptions, and general engineering calculations
Must have some experience in the reading and interpreting of land-legal descriptions, and survey techniques.
Assists with the preparation, reproduction and distribution of drawings, maps, graphics, displays and other related documents. Performs related work on office microcomputers including GIS database entry. Responsible for establishing, maintaining, storing and filing drawings and maps in an orderly, systematic filing and data base mapping systems. Knowledge, and skillful usage of the terminology, concepts, principles, and practices of geographical information systems (GIS) ArcInfo, ArcView, AutoCADMap3D, data management. Ability to prepare GIS maps, administrative reports, etc.
