Intermap Technologies is a dynamic world leader in geospatial data acquitions. Our data is currently being used to SAVE LIVES and IMPROVE the Environment as well as enhance the experience for bikers, hikers, and off-road riders. Our growth has now demanded that we add to our great talent pool with more IP (Interferometic) Technicians. This is a 6 Month Contract position (with benefits)- Local candidates and only those authorized to work in the USA will be considered.

Using proprietary software, our IP Techs will be responsible for processing, calibrating, QCing and delivering finalized map sheets to the Intermap edit department.

? Collect and organize all information that will be needed for processing new projects.
? Create and maintain project books in accordance with ISO process.
? Start, monitor and QC pass processing.
? Document and repair any problems within the data.
? Use ground control and differential profiles to calibrate data.
? Analyzing results and assures data meets specifications.
? Monitoring/investigating/fixing any failures in the processing system.
? Report and document critical choices and problem to supervisor
? Prepare and ship data.
? Repair and document any rejected data.

Job Requirements
? Have a good basic knowledge of either, or both, Windows and Unix operating systems.
? Comprehend map data presentation and the relationships between map features and their portrayal at different scales
? Demonstrate flexibility in moving between different technical roles within the company / team.
? Be capable of working alone on assignments or as part of a larger team.
? Demonstrate the ability to plan, manage and execute project task in accordance to the delivery schedule.
? Be capable of understanding the technical aspects of the Intermap Processing procedure documentation, and applying the requirements for approach, specification, quality checks etc. Identified in the documentation.
? Have a strong, self motivated, work ethic which promotes teamwork as well as a positive attitude in the work place.
? Display an attention to detail approach to task accomplishment with strict procedural compliance philosophy.

Working Conditions
? 6 Month contract position, (40 hours per week).
Candidate may be asked to work overtime on occasion to fulfill project schedule requirements.
