Photogrammetry Technical Lead
The person in this position will be responsible for the technical and administrative management of the Digital Ortho Discipline. This is a production / coordinator position and the successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of production experience. Specific administrative responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting the Discipline Lead in developing efficient technical strategies and alternative solutions for the successful completion of projects, providing input into the proposal generation process, completing project estimates, identifying resource and equipment needs, providing technical guidance to staff, monitoring staff productivity and quality, coordinating with Discipline Leads and Project Managers. Provides production level data processing, data translations and technical support Completes automated and hand filtering of LiDAR data Provides quality control for triangulation, compilation, LiDAR filtering and GIS data processing tasks Provides administrative support to Discipline Lead in the form of project tracking, schedule monitoring, productivity assessments, and quality documentation Assists technicians in the performance of tasks Provides training and cross-training of staff Tests software and makes recommendations for modifications Assists in the development of efficient production processes Metadata development Other duties as assigned Merrick offers a competitive compensation and benefits package which includes; health insurance, dental and vision coverage, 401(k), unique work-life benefits, continuing education and training through the Merrick Learning Institute.
